Adjournment

The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 does not define the term, however, Order XVII deals specifically with adjournment. A court can adjourn the procedures. The court should adjust the equity interest when considering any application for dismissal. Courts cannot have fixed standards for acceptance or rejection of dismissals.
